Hi Billy. Sorry, I am not very active at this site. I live just up the road at Romance, AR. We feed what ever floating fish food we can get, usually from Caldwell's Mill in Rosebud. The fish eat it actively spring to fall but won' eat it when the water turns cold. Still, it has a real effect on the size of the bluegill in our pond. I have taken several that I weighed at or above two pounds. It took about a month before they began to eat the fish food but now they start churning the water as soon as we start to walk to the pond in the afternoon. A word of warning though, as soon as you start feeding you will make your fish bigger than your pond can support and then you have to keep feeding. I am glad we started feeding. I really enjoy putting my grand kids out there and watching them when a real monster gets on. Looking forward to the warmup that will soon be here.

I knew a lady named Betty Fason. We worked together at Land'O Frost in Searcy. Is she some one you know? Keep a tight line. Ross Benson

Thanks for the note. I don't get that far north except to go through Cabot on my way to Heber. I may not be going there this spring because of the water. That means more time spent chasing 'gills. That is more fun anyway.
