Maybe one of you can solve this dilemma - If I put my minnow trap completely under water, the minnows eat the food through the holes, and I don't catch many. If I leave an airspace, any snakes that get in there (like today) survive and might possibly try to bite me. Therefore, causing me to drop the trap and lose all the minnows (happened today, I was afraid it could bite thru the holes). Any solutions?
