The Squirrel Tail Slider Jig got three Pickerel . Two took it tipped with a worm piece/.

Back when I targeted Pike I used 3/8 to 1/2 ounce spinnerbait with long cast since. I fish mostly clear waters of Michigan. Whites and chartreuse were my go to colors and done me good.

Lake Champlain Pike and Pickerel competing for  a fairly quick white Spinnerbait retrieve over the weed tops in 4-8' of water .

Pickerel on the weed flats responding to #11 Floating Rapalas . Rippin and watching . They were coming to the top out of hiding in 6-7 ' of water .
