New to Florida Gillers, glad to join. I live in Oak Hill, FL and am interested in finding good bream fishing in Central FL (East). I fish both flies and live bait, just enjoy catching them and the bigger the better. CharlieA

Hi folks. Just joined BBG. Mostly bream fish on the Wekiva River behind the house and retention ponds around here. Love tossing bugs with my 2 weight. Prime time season is just about here!!

Justin I'm stilling catching a lot of them on foam top water poppers. If I cant get them to take that I use a bead head wooly bugger in a chartreus/black combo.

I absolutely enjoy hooking up a big bluegill on my Sage 3 wt rod. The bluegills I catch on Lake Okeechobee this time of year bend my flyrod in half. Thats what I call one of life's simple pleasures.

New member to Florida Gillers. I live in Lakeland area and love to panfish. It is pretty cool to be able to get local information from others who enjoy the same type fishing.
