That is a good read John.

I published an ebook about pet loss called My Boney Girl. If all our relationships were like the relationships we have with our fishing friends and pets, the world would be a nearly perfect place.

Been enjoying this one James:

Zane Grey Tales of Fresh water Fishing :    https://books.google.com/books?id=-Ui2JTsq9-0C&printsec=frontco...

Congrats on your book ! What's it about ?

The Zane Grey books are good. Some are available as free ebooks.

Nice find on the spoonplug literature. My father in law has spoonplugged for many years.

It is not fishing, but I published my first book this past weekend.

B. I believe this is an 80's version that came with a kit of 5 or 7  spoonplugs I still have .  I found out the booklet  was 1st published in 1965 .

That's a great little booklet! There were actually two versions made, with only a few small differences between the two. That one looks like the newer version. The older/original version had the price printed onto the front cover in the lower right hand corner. Around the same time or somewhat before (depending upon version) there was another little pamphlet released by Buck called, "Spoonplugging...for Freshwater bass and all Gamefish." Similarly there were at least 3 versions printed over the years (see pic).

I've read and copied probably a dozen articles by Buck Perry, seen a few vids, noodles around the Spoonplugging forum.
Its a cool concept he had, and it makes sense. If I had a suitable boat, Is give his methods an earnest effort on our lakes

It's really just a little booklet, Carl .But yes Dave ,still cool!
