Waiting for some warm weather so I can mount them in the boat.

Purchased 2 new Humminbird finders. Helix 7 G2N and a Helix 12 G2N. Waiting on a new trolling motor. I want the new Ultrex 80 24volt but can't see the money they want for it now. Will keep checking on prices hopefully I can get one by spring. If anyone should happen to see any deals keep me in mind. Got my new trolling motor last week. Not all I need is warmer weather so I can get these things installed in the boat. Oh, and watching a lot of youtube to better familiarize myself with the 2 finders at least.

Comment by John Sheehan on August 18, 2019 at 6:43am: Funny you should say that Allen ! The other day ,we were catching most of our Pickerel and the one nice Crappie in a spot me and a buddy ice fished about 2 years ago and caught a 26" Pickerel and a 12" Crappie.

Comment by Allen Morgan on August 17, 2019 at 6:46pm: GPS is nice when you can take your unit out during warm weather (NOW), and mark various waypoints like weedlines, drop-offs, etc. THEN, go back during Winter to those same waypoints and drill a hole through the ice onto good cover/structure.
