Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I had need of some of this recently and of course thought....hmmmm how would this work as a fly tying material. I found that it would take colored markers, stretch and was strong.  So I decided to try some on a fly .side view....Just something different to try.  Thought it looked pretty good for a wing case.

That's just freaking awesome! So what are you calling this? The Mummy?

Leo you crack me up.

MAN THAT LOOKS LIKE A TROUT FLY TO ME AND BET THE GILLS WILL GO CRAZY OVER IT!! MASTER AT WORK HERE FOLKS!!!!!!!!

Leo, hadn't though of a name, but that is right on the money.  The Mummy it is.

Appreciated the good reviews guys.  Always trying to improve to the next level.  Getting the right proportions on every fly I tie is what I'm trying to master.  Always looking for that new something to tie with.

Unbelievable.......... excellent. I can see I have alot to learn....Great job Rex. But I have to next April to learn a few good patterns.

Rex your mind is going in all the right places.

I use that stuff as a finger gaurd/stripping protector.
