Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Caught these 3 and one I couldn't even turn I'm thinking it was one of my hybrid strippers on the 2wt this evening on my Dragon fly nymph. This one was a 10 hen the 1st fish 1st cast.

This was a 7" yellow perch on the dragon fly nymph.

Another small gill. Was out for about 20 minutes and 5 minute of that I had to go back to the house and get the camera.

Will be experimenting winter catches soon as the wife uses her new $$$ Hobie Outback kayak I purchased as her Christmas and Anniversary present. She will be smiling from ear to ear soon.

WE GOTTA SEE PICS OF THE HOBIE LEO !!!!!!

Will do.

Wow you got a hobie cat.

Yes sir. This model:

Red Hibiscus. Didn't get the papaya, since she doesn't like the yellow too much. Couldn't get the olive, since it's not avail. Wanted to get the ivory, but needed a more visible kayak.

Packaged with ST Turbo fins and bait bucket. Ready for some serious actions.

Wow that must of set you back a little.

An Outback with turbo fins - sweet!

I will forever rue the day I sold mine.

David, with the wife wants the long range excursion, and summer fun on the water, a boat is out of the question. 2nd best is the kayak with peddling power. Exercises + family fun = happy family..exhausted pack mule.

Leo my safe side is a dozen if I make anymore than that I'll of had lost them by the time I'll need them. Made up 50 Auto's awhile back still can't find them.

LOL! That's what happened to me. Made over 100 of the auto, and can't find the 75 I've stashed away as safe keeping.

Yea me to but forgot where that was. But on the other hand I know I have some.

I shouldnt laugh, Dick, but I cant help share your issue. I do it all the time. I know I have an item, whatever it may be, but Im danged if I can put my hand on it.

I recently told our priest that I was thinking about the hereafter more these days.

He perked right up, and said, "Really?, Tell me more...."

"Well," I said, "I'll walk into a room, look around - and wonder what the heck I'm here after!"
