Notes from a Nebraska bluegill derelict.

Something came in the mail a couple days ago...

At first I thought maybe it was from my M.D.  He's been pushing me to eat better, and as you can see there were some pretty good items here.  But then I realized it was from my BBG buddies.

First of all there were saltine crackers.  Always good for someone like me who likes to talk too much.  A…

Christmas Bluegill Wishes

I would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all of the members of BigBluegill.com.

I know I've been lacking in posts and pictures lately, but the demands of my family and my business render me an observer most of the time.  I read every post and enjoy every picture.  Every big bluegill caught feels like I landed it myself.

I hope that all of you have an amazing Christmas, and a great new year.  2016 will surely be full of great catches, great…

Gees Bruce those are some of the biggest gills I have seen I wouldn't tell anyone where that honey hole is LOL. Reminds me of a little 1 acre pond we had back in the hills of southwest VA.
