Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

It's Hell getting old , just got back from the Dr. today and he says I have to go under the knife. Prognosis is I have one good ligament left in my shoulder and have to have one repaired and 2 sewed back to the bone at the end of the month ,just a one day surgery but will have to have a foam football under my arm for the next 6 weeks following the surgery.  Good thing I know how to cast a flyrod with my left hand , this might be more fair for the bluegill with one hand tie behind my back.  This will not stop me from going to RENDEZVOUS V this May, I will have plenty of help cooking so  "It's On " , Kentucky Lake , watch out, here we come again , with a Vengeance !  LOFR

Godspeed, LOFR!  Hope it's an easy recovery!

Hope all goes well for you and recovery is smooth.

WELL;;  RUNT OF THE LITTER;;  HOPE YOU GET TO FEELING BETTER REAL SOON !!!  NO MATTER WHAT THO;;;  YOUR STILL COOKING AT THE RENDEVOUZ !   LOLOLOLOL

Get well soon.   See you in May.   Hope you will be able to at least pick up fillet knife.

get well soon! good fishing around the corner

Hope you get healed quickly.

Update,Surgery was last Tuesday, now have right arm immobilized in a sling for 5 more weeks, I'll have to catch my fish " On Sale " then I'll have rehab to do, just typing with left hand is hard enough. Yall save me some to catch after I'm over this affliction, but I will be at the Rendezvous , even if I cant fish it is too fun to miss !  LOFR

Hope the healing and rehab go well and quickly pass so you can get back on the water soon.

Good luck on the recovery.  Some advice from someone that has had that same surgery, listen to the docs, and physical therapists.  There will come a time when you’ll think - I can do that.  DON’T.

All of the people I know that have had to have that surgery redone, finally admitted that they did more than was recommended by Dr or physical therapist.

Rob , I sure don't want to go thru this again, I will follow all dr.s orders. I have a new rectiner and I feel like Capt. Kirk ,barking out orders, well I'm not that bad but On one side this is  almost like having a small vacation on stuff I normally do, folk around here are starting to appreciate all the little things I do around  when they realize if they want it done they will have to do it themselves. I'm starting to miss my own cooking, thanks for the good wishes and advice ! LOFR

BARKING OUT ORDERS  ???   HMMMPH !!!  WHO YOU TRYING TO KID ??   JUST WAIT TILL;; TERESA HEARS OF THIS !!   NOW YOU KNOW;; I WIL NEVER RESORT TO--  BLACK MAIL !!  EXTORISION !!  IS A MUCH KINDER;; POLITER WORD !!!    I DONT KNOW A LOT ABOUT CHECKERS LOFR;; BUT I THINK ITS YOUR MOVE !!     HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA;;;;;;;;;;;;;   DEVILS LITTLE HELPER !!!!!
