Thanks Chad that would be a pleasant surprise.

I live by myself and have lots of time to fish outside of work.

I go gillin only when I'm on my own and there isn't a good bass, pickerel, or crappie bite at my usual local lakes and ponds. Also when the trout waters have been cleaned.

I don't sacrifice a thing but what I do notice is I gain a whole lot of positives that carry over in my whole life. Peace/Peace of mind/Excitement(we could all use that)/Joy/Beauty in all things in nature/patience/Fortitude/ list could go on please feel free to add

I'd give up work to fish all the time but bills and toys have to be paid for, lol.

Realistically as a family we all love the outdoors I've always been that one guy who didn't chase anything but Trout. I am slowly opening my horizons for both my sanity and my pocket book. Many miles of great warmwater minutes from home so now I'm trying to find my swing of things.

What I get out of bluegill fishing is pure joy. I'm lucky that do not have give up anything to go fishing. The girls are grown and gone now. Wife only works on Saturday and Sunday, so, plenty of free time. Lost my father last October, but the memories of all the times he took me fishing will last forever.

I dont think I have ever sacrificed anything to go fishing;; but only gained!!  maybe learn of a new spot to fish at;; meet someone new and make friends with;  to slow down;; see what is going on around the lake;; getting  peace and contentment.
