Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Got my flies this evening. We have some good tiers here at BBG.

Picture really doesn't do them justice, should have picture took individually to really show just how good they turned out.

mc scruff gave every body a couple extra flies he said he was gonna do that

James got it. They are freebies picked at random from my box.
Cant tell you what they unless I see them, so its both a mystery AND a chance to post another pic on BBG!

My package didn't get here yet.  Hopefully tomorrow.

Allen I was really surprised we got them this soon. I have stuff ordered from weeks ago and haven't got it yet. Hopefully tomorrow will be the day.

Got my swap package in the mail yesterday, Thanks fellas...getting back to the tying bench to fill out my boxes.

Have a great Christmas, this was a great start...David, thanks a lot

Bill

The pleasure was ours, Bill. Getting you involved here is like pulling teeth - glad you joined in the fun.

Love the Roadkill!

Santa dropped off a package today!

Allen my poor grass shrimp doesn't look so good I'm sorry looks like it got roughed up or something. It can be brushed out brushing downward. Next time I'll put them in individual small plastic bags like you did I think that will be better for them. Still have to pick your brain on your Damsel fly.

You're kidding, right, Dick???  That's a great-looking shrimp pattern.  I haven't even tried tying a shrimp pattern yet.  Maybe it's the camera's P.O.V.  If I had tried getting the shot from the other side, more like "sighting down a rifle", it might have come out better, but it would have been in Shadow.  I was trying to use natural sunlight here, and the last hour of the day is the best.

Yeah no complaints on the shrimp, Dick. They are super.

Im sure they are gill getters.

Glad everything got to you alright Allen.

Sorry it look beat up to me. I like the way you put yours in a plastic bag. I sent then in a fly box of coarse more toe tags than flies but they were stuck in foam so they couldn't move around but next time I will follow your lead and bag them piece by piece.

THOSE  LOOK REAL GOOD !!  SOME GREAT FLY TIERS ON THIS SITE!!
