Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

We get one of the grand kids every weekend and this was Cheyenne's week end. She's the gal who likes do do what I do. She wants to hunt and fish a regular Tom Boy. She walked out back for about 1/2 hour and caught a few fish the first one to fish so far. 1st was a 26 inch channel cat. 2nd was a 10 inch+ perch stocked last year. 3rd was a small bass and the 4th was a 8 1/2 inch blue gill at which time we had to call it quits and that her back home back to Toledo Ohio.

Great photos buddy , Looks like she had a great time

I think she did have a good time but we didn't have much time maybe a half hour but she caught fish and she enjoyed it especially the blue gill cause she lipped it and held it them threw it back and she was pleased with that. I had her trained at one time when she was smaller but her sister ruined all that but she's coming back around. She says she want to go deer hunting with me makes me proud I'm getting my Tom boy back not that I'm not proud of her anyway..

Way to go, Cheyenne, nice fish!

She was getting into it and got a few. She said there is always next time.

Yes...next time maybe she'll have longer to fish!

I hope so and I know she does it just take's Grammy a little to get going. I'm thinking next time will be an evening fish which will more productive for her anyway.
