Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

ANTIQUE ROD & REEL LIBRARY .com  is a site I've been helping on lately and is very interesting. What it is , is a reference source for people to try and identify any old fly rods, reels etc. that they have . For instance under the Shakepeare heading you 'll find many of the old bamboo rods from long ago and some of the history of them and who made em and when. Same thing for the Shakespeare Wonderods , which I am a contributor on . Very informative and useful site for some one trying to identify old rods and reels.
Hope someone on BBG finds it of value and when you have a chance check it out and you'll be surprized at the beautiful pics of some very nice to well used old bamboo rods.

Excellent info to digest upon Larry. Thank you. I will definitely try out a 2wt in the near future. I'm not worrying about fatigueness since I can cast using both hands. Left hand still require refinement but it's getting there.
I believe I can find excellent collectibles among the garage and estate sales they always have around here. I will find one that will sure hits the spot.

WELL THERE YA ARE MASTER LEO!!!!! YOU can cast with either hand and OLE RICK AND ME can only do one but not the other!!!!

Don't know about that Tooty. You can cast with one hand, using your other hand to pop a beer can, and still sing the national anthem all at the same time. You still beat me.

OH NO LEO, NO BEER CANS ALONG THE SHORE FOR ME !!!!!! IT would be a tall glass of CROWN ROYAL WITH ICE AND SOME DIET COKE!!!!!! HAVE TO WATCH MY DAINTY FIGURE YA KNOW!!!

HEY FOLKS HERE IS A LINK TO THE OTHER SITE I'M A CONTRIBUTOR ON AND the fly rod pics of the Last WondOrod are there and think there maybe a total of 6.  It's a great site and just go to main page and then to the manufacture page and then go to S for Shakespeare and I'm about half way down the page . Those new pics of the fly rod should be there . Hope someone visits it to look at more vintage tackle.........

David,

I've got a 5ft two piece Howald Glastik Wonderod casting rod. I'm uploading some pictures. Is this something that is worth much? Thank you very much for you advice and expertise!

-Jonathan

HEY JOHNATHON, SORRY FOR THE LATE ANSWER cause I've been gone on a trip and a VVVVVVVERY NICE OLD ROD YOU GOT HERE. TODAYS MARKET on ebay is relatively soft on these old casting rods but this one is in such nice shape you could get upwards of $25-40 for it cause of condition .  Looks almost new to me from what I can see......... hope I helped.
