I'll jump in....I've talked a lot about upping the annie on Fliers....I continue to search for the 3 pound gill since I've been stuck on 2 lbs. 4 ounces for awhile as my personal best........I have added two North Carolina rivers to my locations to catch consistent creels......I want to investigate and fish a coastal Virginia location that I have identified....I want to fish the waters of Fort Gordon in Georgia with my grand children.....My first trip of 2012 will be to fish some Louisiana waters in mid March followed by a South Carolina trip in April......Family will visit me again in June back in North Carolina and finally I want to have success fishing spoons in my waters.......

Hi Jeff. I've fished the some of the water at fort Gordon. The wife and I went a couple times in the late 60's I'm thinking 1968. We also fished Clark Lake. Wish you and all your Grandkids well. GOOD FISHIN..

Thanks Dick......It don't have to be a lot of gills or big gills....my young grandsons are just happy with catching a fish and that's good for me......Fort Gordon has several lakes so we should be able to find a gill or two.......

I'm always in search of the next 12" gill :)

i wanna 4 ft longnose a 10lb+ channel cat and i wanna get into kayak fishing some hence my former discussion.as far as places i won't to fish the new river here in va and i want to fish some of those primitive swampy blackwaters of n.c

Catch some huge Gar on Lake norman in Nc..the one that i caught was almost 20 lbs

Great Lake Norman its been along time since I have been there it was in the 70's and when I go by it now it's so much larger. I remember 1970 or 71 it almost dried up.

I think this year I am going to try to fly fish for bluegill. I had a friend of mine tell me how much of a difference the experience was. Also I am looking to head to Florida and try some tarpon fishing.

Tarpon would be interesting beings the salt is in my veins as well

Carlton, Becareful with the FLY FISHING thing, It is a HOLE you may never recover from!!!!!!

But the BEAUTIFUL VIBRATIONS  thing is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
