Is this a serious problem on this fish?

Looking for some expert advice on the health of this fish. Is his dorsal fin condition something i should be concerned with. Caught him out of my pond this morning. He was 9" and weighed 12.2 oz.

Hi Eric. The dorsal fin appeared to be a bit reddish. Could be the red sore disease caused by bacterial infection, or infestation of pathogens. It's a bit common in the game fish industries, such as bass and trout that I've remembered. It's also common on the dirty water of the urban jungle after heavy rain dumping untold gallons of dirty water from the streets of the cities into ponds. I normally look for these signs and toss the fish if they have them. You may want to start there.
