Ok, Hate to sound like a wimp, but sounds like float tube is out for me. How about one of those like bass buster type boats, anyboat use one of them?

Do the vertical rods get in the way of fly casting?

What's holding fly rod in your picture? That looks something like what I'd like to make for myself.
