This fish came from Mosquito Lagoon which is part of the Canaveral National Seashore near CocoaBeach /Titusville on the east coast of Florida where NASA luanches rockets and stuff. Miles and miles of flats not effected by tides because its a lagoon some of the best Trophy Redfish and Speckeled Trout in the world. My fishin buddy caught a 28" Speckled Trout on this same trip.

I caught that one on spinning gear and a 5" Gulp Jerk bait, the water in the lagoon was stirred up with alot of loose floating grass I tried early in the day to get a few on fly but had no takers. Although I fish most of the time with a flyroad and enjoy it so much more than any other method if the conditions arent right I wont beat my head against the wall I'll break out the spinning gear :)
