Very good talking to you Jim, it was good to catch up, time flies as it”s been seven years since you visited for a fishing weekend back in 2014….we need to do it again soon….
Wow, thanks Jim. Great new spots to check out. I really appreciate the tips. Hope to see you along the way one of these days. Once school lets out in June I'm really looking forward to a road trip or two to investigate some of these honey holes.
Hey Jim I decided before my senior year of high school I'd make the really really difficult decision to not come on the site for a while. I had a lot of work to do between work and school and college applications that I just needed to focus on that stuff for a while. I still got out and fished a bit but I've really missed seeing your guys catches and most of all talking fishing with all of the extremely knowledgable people on the site.
Hey!. We can talk fishing anytime. I chase the gills non stop on my flyrod. I've got exceptional fishing around here. I love them and take pictures when I can.
Jim!-Those jigs you made and gave me look excellent! Cant wait for some open water to give them a workout .Thanks very much for your kindness and generosity my friend!
I received your package today my friend. Thank you very much for the surprise....I'll get some picks up of everything I've gotten from you all as soon as I can figure out how photo bucket works and can down load my camera....don't know if it's me or this ancient lap top but having some difficulties all around with this thing....thank you again for the surprise and will see what I can catch with them very soon. Eric
I was on the way to one of my favorite fishing holes a few years ago and I saw a couple of guys dip netting a tiny ditch along the road. It was really just a trickle but it was full of weeds and moss. They could have been netting shiners but I think they were after grass shrimp. I did not stop to ask cause I had fishing on the brain. I had always heard about them. Do you any of you tip jigs with them? If so, what time of year is best to try them out?

Cool. Thanks for the info guys. I was just curious.
This brings up a question? , Have any of yall Premier Fly Tiers tried to make a bug or fly that is Translucent ? LOFR
Many kinds of shrimp out there under the banner of "grass shrimp". They inhabit a great many waters all across the country.
Maurice , we have what is called Ferry shrimp, it's a funny looking upside down fresh water bug . LOFR
