Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Ok guys here is pond number four this week, I kind of took it easy and went to a friends house to hang out and fish a little bit after work. The pond is located in Liberty Park subdivision and the GPS coordinates are  33°29'23.92"N,  86°39'39.81"W. Just keep in mind that this is a private pond for residents and guests. Hear is a shot of what the lake looks like.

I done some bank fishing and also got to try out the kayak that I am thing about buying.  This lake has a ton of Bluegill and some really good sized Large Mouth Bass, today we fished for bluegill to use as bate fish mainly but I caught a few keepers.

All in all we caught about 30 Bluegill in about an hour to an hour and a half and then we went Bass fishing.  it was a fun afternoon with a friend and good fishing.  We will be fishing the lakes at Oak Mountain  this Sunday, we have a little challenge going on to see who can catch the most on water that we have never fished. I hope everyone has a good night and I will be trying out a new pond in Clanton in about 5 hours.
