Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I got to do a spur of the moment trip to Richmond Mill to help Bob Lusk to stock some largemouth. Naturally I had to do a little fishing while I was there.

Zig's jigs are the absolute best. Perhaps we need to pull him out of retirement and make a BBG "special issue" for some of us! :-)

OK that settles it. I am doing something terribly wrong. All of the crappie and gills that I catch are 1/4 that size.

Question:- Does anyone know if Zig is still selling his Jigs?

Jim, I believe I read somewhere else that Bruce's crappie was 18 inches. And that his previous personal best was 15.5.

Awesome pretty specimens. Did a guy named Jonah step out of the mouth of that crappie?

"Oh, I guess I'll fish while I'm here too..." Sheesh. I view pics of big fish with a jealous eye of skepticism.
