The Big Dog We Saved Today on the River….4/4/2026
We were changing locations when we noticed something in the water, mind you we had saw beavers and otters already today but seemed larger…..Joe and I decided quickly that we had to help, fortunately it had a collar so I eased Joe to the dog that was eager to get help at this point, we worked together to get this large animal in the boat….made contact with the owners and they had been looking for Aqua since 2:30 this morning…..it was a close call……he was 200 yards offshore

The owner was in tears by the time we were able to reunite……remote area with a lot of wildlife so he might have been chasing deer to some islands nearby……he was in 20 feet of water at 61 degrees…..exhausted

"Busiest day on the water in 2026……saved a large dog from drowning, was able to locate the owner….deer swimming across the river ….68 fish.."
