It is MY BIG BLUE GILL BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Four years ago today BROTHER BRUCE welcomed me to this site!!!!! Been a LEARNING EXPERIENCE!!! About Bluegill and the different ways to catch them!!!!! The different SPECIES, and the different names for them all around the COUNTRY!!!!!!!! I have learned to use a COMPUTER, a DIGITAL CAMERA, and how to POST THEM!!!!!!

I have met a lot of GREAT FOLK that share in my ADDICTION to catching them!!!!!!! I hope one day to meet many of them!!!!!!!

I am a FLY-ROD fisherman only!!!!!!! Also TYING FLIES, and over the last four year have met here some GREAT TIERS that have introduced me some GREAT GILL GETTERS!!!!! 

So for my BIRTHDAY I have assembled a collection of some of my GO TO FLIES!!!!!! I would like to give them to SOMEONE here on BBG!!!!!!!! FOR A CHANCE TO WIN, all you have to DO is wish me HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and maybe SHARE what YOU HAVE LEARNED HERE ON THE BEST SITE ON THE WEB!!!!

Middle row  Dave Kensingers LIGHTNING BUG, COPPER FLASH,  Shooters DRAGON FLY NYMPH and SINKING CRICKET in HONOR OF THE BOOGIEMAN ( pink cricket with BETTY GRABLE LEGS)!!!!!

Bottom row is Kelly Gallop's SPARKBUG ( my favorite crappie fly),  Jay Fares HOPPER-HEX, EGG-SUCKING LEACH,  BLACK WIDOW, and the BLUEGILL CANDY!!!!!!

ONE NOT PICTURED is in the VICE and will take a bit longer to finish one top water favorite of mine will remain a mystery til drawing day!!!!! P. S. it is not the FLIP FLOPPER!!!!!!!!

What a Surprise, I have been away at the crappy cabin getting ready for my other vice "deer hunting" and have been away from the computer for days, so this is really a surprise for me, and I needed it after suffering through the realization that our football team has won it only game it's going to win this year so I am humbled to have won such a great prize, hand made  by members of BBG, THANK YOU GREG, and thanks for all of yalls congrats for winning.Greg must have known that I have started to use more flies and I'll have to report how they work for me. LOL Not a problem there Dick. Just recalling past memory to bring out the new line of booby flies. I'm telling you, this will be an epic line up of flies thanks to Greghopper. I have his flies and instruction loaded up in my Google Docs and local hard drive archive for safe keeping. I have hot neon and satin UV harden nail paint selected by the wife to test out. May need to get some fabric paint if the nail polish don't come out right after some experiment in my own tub. The kids are already saying, "What is that daddy?" When I said, "They're called Booby flies", my daughter said, "Awwww..that's so cute!" and my boy said, "Hehehehehe..booby..hehehehehehe.." Well, there you have it. It's the favorite flies of the family so far.
