Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

http://www.suttoncenter.org/eaglecam.html

This is a web site of an eagles nest. Last year The pair raised one young one, out of 3 eggs laid. They are currently working on the nest. The background is Sooner Lake, a cooling lake for an electical power plant which is abou 40 miles from my house. You can go to this site which has 2 cameras pointed at the nest. The eagles bring fish to the young. Some are large it is a lot of fun to watch. Daylight viewing and I hope you enjoy these Magnificent Birds.

Wow Jen, Did you see them too? Some on zoomed in the camera shortly before the mateing. The female was eating some kind of fish this evening. She didn't share. Well huh.

The eagles mated yesterday and have been building on the nest all day today.
Great family viewing!

The camera used on this site is solar powered, of late we have been blessed with many clouds. Today we have sunshine so hopefully the cams will be working shortly.

Steve, When the weather get cold up north we have a large influx of eagles here on the arkansas river basin, which is about 8 miles from the house, I see several close to the house when ponds are not frozen over.

John , The cam wouldn't load up this morning for me either. It gets a lot better when they have eggs in the nest. You get to see the little buggers up close. When the eggs are are there an adult is always with them.
