Do you love big bluegill?

catching crickets

does anyone out there know how to catch crickets for bluegill bait . a friend of mine tried to buy some but could not find what he wanted . anyone out there have a sucess doing this . i live in northeast ohio and this prime time for crickets to be around.

The following day, best method is to wet a roll of newspaper, place a few very lightly dampened pieces of bread near the newspaper, and cover both the wet paper and bread with a container with an opened side or sides that can easily be covered up to trap them all. You get at least 20 of them easily.

HAVE HEARD A LOT OF CRICKETS AT NIGHT LATELY. IF YOU HAVE ANY LUCK LET ME KNOW. I AM SURPRISED HE KNOWS. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SELL A CRICKET BOX AT THE FLEA MARKET IN FLINT MI FOR OVER A YEAR & NO ONE LOOKS AT IT. MAYBE I SHOULD USE IT. HOW DO YOU HOOK A CRICKET?
