JOHN;; SOMETIMES I JUST USE WD 40 DIRECTLY ON TO THE LINE;; WORKS WONDERS ON THE LINE;; BETTER CAST DISTANCE; LESS MEMORY  COIL TO;; THERE IS A TYPE OF LINE DRESSING YO UCAN BUY FROM SPORTING GOOD STORES THAT WORK JUST AS WELL

ANY TIME JOHN !  HAVE YOU TRIED USING A LINE DRESSING ON THE REEL AND LINE ??  WORKS TERRIFIC !

Leo Dont know how deep the deepest spots were but lots of fish came in a few feet of water for sure..I fished  the topwater crickets on the flyrod and the jointed rapala on the surface real slow waking and snaking .  Carl. the 6# test Crappie line you  gave me was perfect for the long casts with the spinning rod! Thanks friend!Got caught in thunderstorm that didnt last long and it cooled me off nicely!

GOING TO TAKE A LOT OF RAIN TO RE FILL THAT POND !  GLAD YOU WERE ABLE TO GET BACK OUT FOR AWHILE JOHN !

Wow, that does look shallow. How deep was that? 2ft at max?

Again glad there working for you John. I think this time of year is better cause the crickets and grasshoppers are out in full force. WTG glad some of my creations helped to make an enjoyable day for you make me feel good hoping one day I can experience it again.

You are right and boy did my sneakers get muddy,Dick ! Your Brown and Black Cricket worked a charm on around 25 Gills ,one Bass and a few Pseeds. The Brown one is now missing a back leg .I saw some Greyish  hoppers in the grass that were about the same size as your creations.
