The BLUEGILL were in 25' of water, I was sitting in 15 ' and casting deep!!!!!

Jen, Same here or more!!!!!!! A faster sinking line would work quicker!!!!!!! But this gives me time to REST in between FISH!!!!!! :-)

Looks like that sinking line was working for you again. I use mine probably 90% of the time. Great looking gill!!!!!!

Not sure of the THERMOCLINE, there are several drop offs that eventually end up @ 40'!!!!!!! Finding the DROP OFFS they are hanging around is the CHALLENGE!!!!!!!

25 ft. They are still bottom hugging. What is the the estimated thermocline?

Thank YOU ALL, 

DAVID, it was a full sink intermediate, cast out till it all sank, SLOW Hand Twist RETRIEVE!!!!! They were deep but taking it HARD!!!!! All were 9.5" except for an 8.5 DINK!!!!! LOL

The rained that came in that EVENING would have filled DOC's POND!!!!
