Thanks Leo.......it is interesting and truly it's a wash again in 2016.........some rested remote areas have been great this year yet some of the canal systems with manmade structures have still proven out for quality and numbers......I still say it's close between the Pasquotank River and Bagley's Swamp a little to the west........
Interesting. So far, which body of water you've been to this year is the most productive? Remote region or areas known for fishing activities?
It is Bruce.......we encountered a kayak angler at the two mile mark but I'm not sure he was going to go that deep in the swamp........don't often see many folks in this location.........
Looks so nice and peaceful.
Hi Carl, and thanks for checking into that for me. I've been doing some extensive research on the S/S boats as well. Aside from the Tracker Panfish model they are quite rare in our neck of the woods. And although the "Chief Financial Officer" might be imposing Boat Budget constraints for a while longer, my pursuit for the perfect S/S boat for my needs shall carry on :-)
Thanks again for taking the time to look into that, it's much appreciated.
Bill
BILL CAPPEILLA; I JUST GOOGLED IN;; STICK STEER BOATS;; IT CAME UP WITH A BUNCH OF THEM ! LOWES;; G 3;S BASS PRO;; CHECK IT OUT;; IF I AM CORRECT; I THINK I SAW ; KITS YOU COULD GET TO MAKE YOUR OWN STICK STEER BOAT
Understand LOFR......it was more a figure of speech in this case......LOL.......peliated woodpeckers are plentiful here in North Carolina and are a smaller version with different color markings.......I would have bet money one time that I saw an Ivory but that was back in the 70s in the Louisiana bayou...........
Ivory billed woodpeckers are supposed to be extinct, don't let the government know , they will shut down that area and you wont have access to it so they can study them like they did here in Arkansas. LOFR
Likewise Bill.......anytime.........good luck with your search.......
