I tried mine out yesterday, I tied on the fat silver and black one gave it a sling. A blue gill took it on about the fifth crank and got a strike on the second cast. The fat ones have a nice side to side swimming action. They go about 1ft deep (with 4lb. mono) and float back to the top when you stop your retrieve. The minnow shaped one don't float and sink tail first when you stop cranking. I caught a crappie on the one on the top right. The swimming action is not as good and I think it could benefit from having a smaller hook and split rings.
I also ordered some lures from China. Should get them tomorrow according to USPS tracking. I'll never understand how a seller in China can sell & ship an item for less than half of what it would cost just to ship a similar size package from the US to China. The package was processed by the postal service in China on March 29 and is in Columbus Ohio today. At the price I paid for 10 lures shipped ($7.48) I'm not going to be too upset when I leave one hanging in a tree.
I bought some too that I have not used yet. I'm curious to see what action these baits have
Nice mini cranks Keith.
