Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

This time of year I like to set up outside. We're working this mess of gills over.....Fried in Peanut Oil and Fine Yellow Corn Meal.....Fresh lemon to squeeze, cold Heinz ketchup and salt and pepper to taste.....

I figured as much.... we do an annual fish fry for my wife's family, and the propane fryer gets a workout. I finally broke down and bought a larger, commercial electric fryer for here in the house. Just grew tired of not being able to cook more than 5-6 fillets at a time. By the time the last bunch is done, the first bunch is cold.....not how I like to treat my BG fillets!

I have a big propane fryer for larger groups Tony but the Frydaddys work well for smaller amounts.......I have about six of them now so I rotate them.....I do that to strain the peanut oil for reuse.....

Looks delicious!! well, except for the ketchup part.... Jeffrey, I am under the impression that you eat a lot of fish, do you have a bigger fryer?? If not, those poor fry daddy's must have their work cut out for them!
