Thanks Tracy…..I rarely fish the North Carolina lakes……east of Interstate 95 we have abundant supply in all the brackish water rivers……the limit in my region is 30 per person a day and I have a couple spots that I can catch 30 in less than an hour…they are smaller but very aggressive especially when they are spawning….

wow. there are only two lakes in my state that have them. thought about trying one of them.
what areas of a small lake do they like? this lake has some grass and chunk rock and about 25ft deep on the deepest side.
