I snagged one of these same size Bass in the tail area with a spoon today .What is going on?

Leo yes , it got snagged in the head .I agree Ken ,this fish ,and another just like it , has a nice wideness to it ,great color ,and a strong mouth !

Whenever I fish for redear around thanksgiving I usually get a few bass and they always fight hard. Then in early March when I do the same they barely fight at all... I don't get it John. Anyway nice tall fish
