Short periods of drizzle yesterday....We have been fortunate so far this season with low humidity.....but that is subject to change at any moment...Part of the reason for my sustained success from May until now is the mild weather holding water temperatures in the peak range for weeks longer than recent years......I saw water temperatures in the high 60s this past weekend on waters that have reached the high 80s by mid June in the past.....
Does it drizzle for long or just a few minutes here and there? The humidity must be a massive killer.
With the first day of Summer coming this Thursday.....the drizzle was a refreshing alternative to a heat index that is normal for this time of year......I kind of enjoy fishing in a light rain every once in a while......the bite can be good also if you're going through an atmospheric pressure change......
I don't know what looks better.... the fish or the rain.
A dark shellcracker in the drizzle......Dan put it on him!
