The Mississippi grass shrimp has distinctive dark markings, this is a female carrying her eggs……look at the head sword on this small creature….

UNBELIEVABLE SHOT JEFFREY and I"ll work on that this week and looks like the pattern needs to be larger than I previously made. I have a solution for the subtle pink hue to this and will post a shot tomorrow sometime of a imitation................

That's why the grass shrimp pattern jigs are so effective...even without bait tipping. Duplicate size and color and it's gametime!

Pink and Olive no less Jim....many of the shrimp I scooped in Louisiana growing up looked like this....one of the reasons I fish pink artificial baits so hard now.....
