Water looks good......just need a break from the up and down weather.....85 degrees yesterday and 51 today....Go figure.......Full Moon is tomorrow........

looks like the water is clearing up nicely. (hmmm looks familiar!)

thats nice. Most of the big fish hitting top water are just now getting on beds so the pickings are getting sparse

Absolutely Derrick.....the bass fishing is great in this region......you could be bass fishing right behind me! Water depths around these trees are 2 to 5 feet and the main river is 15 to 20 in this section........

Good looking spot - one of the advantages of having a "real" boat is you can get to lots of these places.

I haven't equipped my boat with Power Poles yet because it will require my outboard to be pulled and I've just been reluctant to do that with fears of cracking the older hull (1987)....I use plastisol covered 10 pound bell anchors........I carry 4 on my boat for a four corner moor if winds or currents are a factor.........I can lock her down pretty snug this way........

Comment by Leo Nguyen on April 4, 2012 at 5:21pm

You you use traditional anchors or the vertical pole anchors so you don't disturb the spawning ground?
