The gill in question David hit this bait.....you will have to imagine the Live Cricket added....I hide the entire hook for my presentation..........

Glad to see Kalin makes Crappie baits .I 've had great success through the years with the 3" Kalin Grub for Bass.Yellow is a real Crappie killer color here too! Perch,Gills and Bass  like yellow too . I hope to see these at the tackle shop next time I'm there.

What I like about this presentation Leo.........the bigger gills take right to this combination as well....I caught several nice gills on this rig yesterday around areas with decent sized Crappie......

Nice! Wow..Need to get a few of those to experiment. You literally tip the jig with cricket and the plastic, and they get hammered well? Very interesting.
