LOL Sorry Dick. I've been trying to lose 35lbs before summer as well by riding my bike a bit further each day. But, think about it..fried catfish, onion blossom, fried..fried..fried..hey, what's better than fried? LOL

OK Leo there goes my figure again. Been walking the dog 1 1/2 miles a day so I can loose some weight.

@harald... Dunno where you live, but go to the section of the store that sells breading mixes. Most likely there will be A "cajun" mix of some kind. There are also cajun seasonings blends you can buy. If you can't find anything, heres what southerners do....
Mix 2/3 cornmeal, 1/3 flour, 2tsp garlic powder, 1tsp red pepper powder (cayenne) 1/2 tsp celery salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper together. Use that for breading the fish.
