Jeffrey won't be long and you'll be getting lessons from Cody. He lookin like a go getter enjoy as I know you will they do grow up fast.
It should be warmer in Georgia Vince....my grandsons and I were in shorts/short sleeves on the 14th of March last year in central Georgia.....
At the time I didn't realize I was creating a monster....Cody now has a nice lightweight 10 footer for catching his gills....
Wow, that one is one strong little man. Quite a cane operator. Got grandpa to teach him the tips and tricks.
Thanks Dick and Jose....Cody was excited and just as eager to release the fish so he could find his mother.......You might notice the skid marks where he slipped rushing over to get the pole...but he bounced right up and caught the gill...He'll be a good angler!
Another Georgia gill and some shared special moments, that's precious.
Thanks Guys...It's exactly how I learned to fish and the new style telescopics are very light so the little guys handle them pretty well....I had to go longer than I wanted to yesterday trying to reach a little deeper water but the boys handled things just fine....You can tell by the clothing we were warm and sunny....
Jeffrey I agree with you. I took a quick look at Wikipedia and I found this, " Quality time is
an informal reference to time spend with loved ones" I wish you more quality time.
Way to go Cody (and Granddad)!
The first mess of sunfish (bluegill, red-ear, green sunfish, etc.) I ever caught was on a cane pole with a small bobber and earthworms. I was about the same age as the young angler in the pic too! :-D
