Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Got out late today for a few hours and had a blast.....these fish were on flooded cypress in 1 to 3 feet of water......telescopic poles retired for the warm weather season.........

Hey Timmy .........that access is still available depending on the type of boat/trailer.........I will launch my smaller boats there and kayaks are put in there as well.......I go to Coinjock for my bass boat because that Garrington Island ramp is a little tough for larger boats........fishing is good there and still one of my favorite places to fish for the remote and scenic opportunities.....good luck to you and May is a great time to fish there.........

Mr Abney, knowing that you live in the area would you happen to know if the landing next to the campground which I think is on garrington rd.is still useable.I think the area is shawboro.Have not been there in 3 or 4 years and if I remember correctly it was a hole on one side of the ramp then and was wondering if people still used it.planning a trip in a week or 2 and prefer to launch there if possible.2 hr drive so trying to find out befoe hand
