Do you love big bluegill?
A disappointment
Just when you think you have finally hooked your "personal best" Bluegill, it always ends up being one of these guys! Got excited for a few minutes!

When I hooked this guy, I was using a 1/32 oz.silver shad jig (tyed by LedHed) tipped with a cricket, and as it was sinking down, the fish hit. While fighting him with my tiny old Quantum Micro rod and 1 lb test ice line, the fish had bent the rod down into the water several times. I did not have the apron put on my float tube, so a couple of times, the rod was pulled way down into the water! I was so hoping it was a giant panfish!
