11 inches and 1 pound 12 ounces......Caught this beast on a orange Tabbert Grass Shrimp tipped with a live cricket at three feet in six feet of water adjacent to active beds....

Just under two pounds also Gerome.......fish had really started packing on the weight since he had not quite reached the 12 inch mark yet.......Dan lives in Madison....

Dan is competitive for sure Tooty.....but he still gets punished from time to time to keep him honest! LOL.....
Troy I catch an amazing amount of gills up to 1.5 pounds every year....I am surprised that the two pound plateau is not passed more often but I'm not complaining because I'll take a pound class gill any day and be very happy!

Thanks Troy.......I've caught a couple over two pounds including my best on the Albemarle back in 1999 of 2 pounds 4 Ounces......We went to a spot that a Coppernose over three was caught back in the early nineties....
