IM VERY MUCH HOPING; ALL OF YOU GUYS ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD ARE STAYING SAFE; NO DAMAGE TO YOUR HOMES;;  AND NO FISH KILLS !!

Glad it is past you guys Jeffrey. Hope the region doesn't sustain much of a fish kill, if any.

We're still hunkered down here for another little while. Wind is not too bad now, mostly rain here. Fixed a good breakfast of homemade Venison Sausage, eggs, biscuits & Garden Tomatoes for the wife and I. Gonna go outside and check things out in a little while, if I can keep my eyes open ;-) .

Thanks all......we are now on the back side of it in coastal NC.........worried about our neighbors to the north now as this storm is suppose to strengthen now and go stationary.......could be tough up in mid atlantic through Jersey.......

The biggest thing Craig is Marsh Turnover and the resulting FISH KILL.......been since 2003 since we had a big one here on the Albemarle............with millions of acres of wet lands......the rains and surge fill in and push into our rivers and creeks subsequently removing all the oxygen.......

Stay safe sir, how will this effect teh fishing after I moves on? Having never lived around hurricanes I'm curious how it effects different things other than what we see on the news.

Stay safe down there Jeffrey. Looks like Hermine will skirt by us, but not without lingering off the coast for some time and dumping several inches of water on us. At least we can all be thankful that we are not taking any direct hits from Hurricane force winds. That is one of the few things I dislike about living in this region ..... Hurricanes.
