Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

1st fish on and made my day. Just a little short of 11" mark caught on my topwater black cricket. First thing I noticed was the larger scales boy how I wish I knew how the fish whisperer made them fish lay still for his fantastic pictures.

Thanks LedHed I'll try that but how do you get then to set on your hand and pose for you.

Thanks Sam. It was nice using my own small black cricket just wished I'd have taken a better picture it is out of focus but a LedHed picture would have done that fish justice.

Hey Dick!

Nice looking gill!

It looks so clean as though it had been already been scaled!!

A bonus using your own black cricket!!

Thanks Jeffrey. I see these guys at the feeder and you can see there decent size but until you catch one one can only really guess how big they really are till he's caught and out of the water. I'm happy to see the pond is starting to have some big fish in it..
