Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

These are the barrels I mentioned earlier. Here, I'm in the process of reorganizing them, lining them up together, since they had been scattered here and there. I water under and around them when I water the garden, and they are in the shade of a small copse of shrubbery. I've also got a few collection sites out in the woods by the house, where I've laid down some bark and compost.

The worms here are large leaf worms, very lively and energetic. Leo calls such critters, "jumpers" and for good reason. As soon as you touch them,
they start jumping around like they've been electrocuted.

Love the lowly worm, people.

David, half of mine is in the ground, while the other half is in the large bin for cultivation. It appears my population in the ground is suffering due to predation.

Man, jumpers' collection buckets. Wish I have someone over there to help me harvest a few and send them over there to cultivate. The moles over there, as well as human chemical liquid fertilizers injections, killed so many of my introduced population. I was grunting for worms for the past few days, and barely able to find a few of my jumpers.
