Wow. DNR must have the money to stock huge sizes like those. Around here, we're blessed and damn lucky if we can get anything beyond 8in. Mainly 4 to 6in, and maybe, just maybe 50 of the 8in among the hundreds.

Yes...these were freshly stocked fish in the 12-14 inch range.

Nice fish, Jim. We've got the same thing going on in Ohio. Me and Dad hit a local pond that the ODNR stocked on Friday.

Put & Take trout are pretty much the whole trout game in many states Back East, with some better quality streams in PA, MD mountains and Virginia. NC has some very good trouting in the Appalachians. With so many fish being stocked each spring it just makes sense to take a break from the panfish and give the trout a shot.Fun with UL and spoons and spinners!
