Jeff what a great shot!!!!!!!!!!! Man that water is either Ultra clear or very shallow. In the upper right hand corner out over deeper water it appears to be more gills swimming.AWESOME PHOTO JEFF.........

Great picture. A lot of times if you don't know the lake or spawning areas you'll run up on the and spook all the fish away. Funny how the gills know which nest is there's to return to later.

Dick -Tell you're wife ,fishing is cheaper than a padded room at a Mental institution.

I have a lake in Michigan that would look like that when they start bedding.  Just done a tour around the pond and the gills are in the shallows so I'm thinkin it won't be to long. I'm finally going to get out Saturday and excited. Wife said I sound like a little kid but Ive been having withdrawals for so long it will be nice to finally get out there.

Get yourself ready Dick. Jeff stumbled upon on awesome stomping fly rodder's heaven. I'm still in shock and awe to see so many beds in one photo.

Man Leo the bed is loaded where is my rod. They should be starting to bed here soon. Rule of thumb is the first full moon in may. I thought with our warm weather it would be sooner but yesterday when I got up it was 31 degrees. Warms up then gets cold what's a fella to do, wait till the time is right I guess.
