Good Box of Tidal Crappie and Bonus Channel Cat……..8/16/2022

We’ve had multiple cold fronts back to back…..and accompanying rainfall which has pushed our surface temperatures down into the middle 70s and held them there for five consecutive days which triggers fish activity…..these crappie were active around shallow cover…..a bonus 9 pound class channel on a drifted night crawler….

Absolutely Mikey-D…..this is about my size limit for the table except for a “tabby” cat…..we enjoy catfish as a breakfast mea t…goes very well with grits, eggs any style and hash browns to name a few…

Love them Bruce …….not discussed here a lot but I eat farm raised channel catfish several times a month, I keep some when we cross paths and most often I purchase the filets from Carolina Classics here in North Carolina, grain fed and some of the best I’ve ever had……Thanks
