Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I have crossed over to the Dark Side! Tied on a size 10 scud hook. Chartreuse mop, black simi-seal dubbing, and a dyed-chartreuse Guinea soft hackle.

The hackle adds to the fly makes it look fishier to me but then again I'm not a fish.

Thanks.  I haven't gotten around to fishing it, yet.

Sorta/kinda.  It's a Micro-fiber "Mop" finger.  From the car-washing and home-cleaning "mops" that you can get in Dollar stores, Walmart, etc.  It basically is a chenille, but you typically buy the "glove" that your and fits into, and the "palm" is covered with these little fingers.  I just cut one off, and tie it onto the hook.

I want to find a cream-colored or off-white version.  I should be able to come up with a version that looks like wax worms, or other larvae.  I'm think it will be killer.
