Wow! not only a gill that is well perportioned, but great coloring too. I like the purple on the jig, and on that gill. Way to go LedHed!!!

MAN WHAT A MONSTER !!!!! HAD to have been an absolute ball on any kind of rod! Yup purple one of my favorites of all time for gills and red ears.

Comment all you want David - LOL. Fabi has to do more of the purple for sure.

I think this one was 10”+ so it was real close to 1.75lb.

Jim – she tyed it semi-auto but by the time she got to this fish it was looking like an auto. We don’t tye them smaller than 1/32nd #8 because of the swallowing issue. If the bite gets too hot we have to bend the barb.

LedHed...is that the auto or semi-auto? Do you still have trouble with gills taking the 1/80th oz jigs too deep?
