Wow way to small for these old eyes.
there you have it folks-- straight from the guy who made these!! excellent work Steve!!
The orange and red tails are made from 20# mono...the green ones are 40# mono. Taking a length of mono.....tie overhand knot.....make 14 loops in the 20# and 8 in the 40# (can get more if stronger than me) ...pull knot up to about 1/2 long....use pliers on tag ends....lubricate knots.....then steady pull down tight....clip one end close...leave about 1/4 inch on other.....hold with needlenose against knot....hold lighter to part sticking out...will melt back into the ball shape.
Thank you Kevin for the interest... and Carl...Jim and Joe for the comments
thanks Jim yes sir its a knot -- kind of like a slip knot;; very heavy string! like a weed eater -- cant say for sure tho.
i remember those carl-he makes them basically like a knot for a slip bobber.that is over simplified but that was the general idea.i think he had a how- to some where.i forget what material he used.very ingenius.
Now that's a micro plastic
Kevin-- fellow bbg member Steve Wilson gave these to me. i think he said he used weed eater line to make these tails
Wuah..molded perfectly for hooks.
